Spawn Camping and Camping in Enemy Base

Last week I brought up the mention of Forever 29’s as a problem in Scarlet Blade. Well, this is the same problem now changed to something different. It’s call ‘Spawn Camping’ and ‘Base Camping.’

What is this you may ask? This is when two or more ridiculously strong Forever 29’s mech up and just stay in either Royal Guard or Free Knight base for anywhere from 5-10 minutes straight. This means anyone killed will respawn in the case-as usual-and immediately die again.

This is so wrong in many ways.

First off, it gives a person a chance to ‘rank point farm’ off players who haven’t a chance in hell of standing up to them. Last night I watched some of our FK do that. And it’s the same bunch I wrote about last night. Now I get it that you’re mad someone from RG came onto our chat and talked trash. That’s one thing…camping their base to just bully them is another.

It’s why no one likes this group.

Secondly, it forces RG to stay in their base, which prevents solo players like me from being able to get kills and complete the ‘killing enemy arkana’ quest. I admit my arkana doesn’t have the highest level equipment, which forces me to be sneaky, brutal and a 1v1 fighter…to each his own.

But to load up on high gear and then just bully your way into the enemy base doesn’t make you ‘tough’ or ‘bad’ it makes you a prick. Chalk up another reason why the group on our side isn’t liked.

And I’m sure there are people who will tell me ‘then make your arkana better.’ Well, one can’t when the bunch hogs every major boss they can. That prevents others from being able to get tough enough to be able to make runs at the RG or FK chest.

Once again, Aeria looks the other way while Valkyrie server continues to die. Smaller players don’t want to come in because they’ll be mauled. I’ve gotten to where I try to stick to 26-29 when I kill someone but it’s hard to tell the difference via HP. If I see a 23 or 24 or 25 dog tag floating after the kill, then I’ll leave that person alone.

Granted, I understand Aeria is in business to make money and these folks probably buy stuff from Aeria. I get that. However, to turn a blind eye while folks are screwed over is poor management.

Once again, another problem to be fixed that won’t be.

A Rod’s Suspension

Today Major League Baseball (MBL) suspended A. Rod for 211 games due to his role in taking performance enhancing drugs. As someone with a sports management degree, I’m going to weigh in on this.

This is not Rod’s first time taking PED’s during his career. The admission that he used them while with the Texas Rangers was telling in many ways. It says:

  1. He wasn’t playing the game fairly like it should be.
  2. Lack of character
  3. Lack of regard for his teammates and fans.

Anyone with a modicum of common sense knows that sports are dirty to an extent. Sports Entertainment is a multi-billion dollar industry that caters towards making large numbers of people happy. People attending events find teams, or players, that they like and then become fans. My dad is a big fan of the New York Yankees, and I like them along with the Washington Nationals. It’s how things go.

What makes things like this worse is that a lot of MLB players (as are football and basketball) are role models for kids throughout the country. To do such as he has sends a message to the children that “cheating is good.”

This shows a massive lack of character.

None of the A. Rod drama is going to end anytime soon. It’s been happening all year as he and the Yankees are having a long and ugly divorce. There’s no other option than that now, because the relationship between him and the club is toxic.

Now for those who want to know why he is fighting this so much? Try 50+ million reasons. A suspension for the end of the season and next year is worth that much money. Even a monkey would fight for that.

Hang onto your hats, folks. This is just starting.

Peter Capldi as The Doctor

I’m not sure how I feel about this casting. On one hand it’s nice to see an established actor have the roll. It might bring a darker, more mature Doctor than before. On the other hand, I think he might be a touch too old. But, like I did with Matt Smith, I’m going to give him a chance to grow into the role and see what happens.

I don’t think it’s fair for any of us to pan his ability to be The Doctor without seeing how he does first. He may surprise us with a very complex, and intriguing portrayal as Smith did.

It will be interesting to see how things turn out, but I’ll tell you one thing: I’m betting the regeneration is during the 50th anniversary special. Why? Because there’s something River said the Clara and The Doctor. To enter your own time stream is fatal, that the winds of the vortex would tear you apart. Ok, so where’s the Doctor? Inside his own time stream. How will he get out if it’s fatal? Sounds like a regeneration to me.

Always pay attention to the words spoken during a Moffatt episode. He writes from the back to the front, so a lot of them foreshadow the climatic episode.

Anthony Weiner Admits To Engaging In More Sex Chats, Lewd Texts And Behavior

Just go away, Anthony, please. This country’s seen enough embarrassment after the definition of ‘sex,’ the guy in Florida with the pages, the congressman in the late 70’s or early 80’s censored for porking pages (Underage kids..how did he avoid jail time?) and the list of things from Bush, Obama, Bob McDonnell and Terry McAuliffe.

Just go!

from Latinos Post

Disgraced Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner predicted that more news would emerge regarding his infamous sexting scandal back in 2011—and today, it did.

Weiner, who is currently running in the New York City mayoral campaign, resigned from Congress in 2011 after confessing he sent sexually explicit photos to multiple women via Twitter, reports NBC. The married politican iniatially denied the reports and aruged that his account was hacked. He later came clean, admitting to having “inappropriate” online relationships with several women and stepped down from his position that June.

On Tuesday, he responded to a report of newly-discovered explicit online messages to a woman, in a statement obtained by CBSNews.com. The young woman told The Dirty that the exchange continued after Weiner resigned in August 2012.

“While some things that have been posted today are true and some are not, there is no question that what I did was wrong,” Weiner said in the statement. “This behavior is behind me.”

He had acknowledged early in his mayoral campaign that more lewd “texts and photos” could come out during his candidacy. However, he said that he and his wife are “moving forward” from the scandal.

“As I have said in the past, these things that I did were wrong and hurtful to my wife and caused us to go through challenges in our marriage that extended past my resignation from Congress,” Weiner said. “I want to again say that I am very sorry to anyone who was on the receiving end of these messages and the disruption that this has caused.”
