Apparently Weber’ s announced the ‘first pass’ script has been completed. I’d go watch the movie when it comes out-even though I don’t care for Weber personally. At least it’d be a true science fiction movie…

I agree…but I don’t think he’s a great writer anymore. Feel like he’s gotten lazy. You go and buy a new HH novel, and it’s like 600 pages…the first 200-250 are retelling what happened before….so you really are paying for only 2/3 of what the book is. When making a series, you don’t need to do that again and again. Trust the reader to read the earlier books!
